We reply within 1–2 business days. If you're reporting a conversion problem, it helps to include the file size and a brief description of what the original document contains (number of pages, whether it has tables, images, etc.).
Common questions
My file failed to convert. What do I do?
First, make sure the file has a .wpd extension. If it uses .wp or .wp5, rename it to .wpd and try again. For files larger than 100 MB or documents with complex embedded objects, conversion may time out — email us the details and we'll look into it.
Is my file safe to upload?
Yes. Your file is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our processing partner CloudConvert, which deletes files automatically after conversion. We never see or store your documents. See the privacy handling section on the main page for the full chain of custody.
The formatting looks wrong after conversion.
Some WordPerfect features — pleading paper formatting, certain fonts, macros — don't have direct equivalents in DOCX. See the WPD vs DOCX comparison for what transfers reliably and what may need manual adjustment. If something looks unexpectedly broken, email us with a description.
Can I convert multiple files at once?
Currently, the tool handles one file at a time. If you need batch conversion, email us — we may be able to help.
